DC Knights

The DC Knights originated in 2005 and have participated in 5 annual Street Soccer USA Cups, among other competitions. Initially composed largely of players from the National Coalition for the Homeless and Street Sense, most of the Knights are outpatients of the Neighbors Consejo recovery program in Columbia Heights.

The Knights are coached by Omar Abdul-Baki, Sarah Guy, Jonathan Foster, Alex Bearman, Andy Lee and Felipe Calisto.
Arlington Tigers

The Tigers were officially established in April of 2011 at A-SPAN (Arlington Street People's Assistance Network). Ken B, a client of A-SPAN, is credited with pushing the concept and giving the team its namesake. Sarah Morse, A-SPAN volunteer coordinator, is the team organizer and head coach with Ken. The Tigers participated in the 2011 SSUSA Cup by teaming up with the Knights, and will field their own team at the 2012 SSUSA Cup.
